The PTL consists of four Divisions each with 6 or 7 teams in each.  Most of our PTL galas will be swum on a Saturday Evening and last about 2 - 2½ hours.

Dates   We try and swim all our PTL galas by Easter.  There is usually one PTL gala swum  per month,  usually on the middle Saturday evening of the month.

PTL Finals -  Instead of the swim offs we have in the Teletots,  the Ulster  Region is split into two  and there are area time trials  on ‘’’TBC’’’’ to decide a team to go down and compete against the South.  This gives the swimmers in lower divisions a chance to swim against swimmers in higher divisions.  Finals are swum on the ‘’’TBC’’’’’this year.
The presentations for the League are then made after this gala.  This season our ‘A’  Boys Team won the overall points cup in division 4.  Well done !  This is the 4th year in a row winning one of our age group sections.
Bus.  We often book a bus for the away galas.  The older children do not need to be accompanied by a parent.  The younger A group will probably require a parent.  We will always be looking for parents to help out with timekeeping.  Occasionally we will need a starter or touch judge.  These jobs are not difficult and if you are interested in finding out how to do them please ask the coaches or make contact with your PTL rep (this year vacant, but contact June Traill in meantime)  Each person on the bus will be required to contribute £2 towards the expenses, unless you are performing a job.

January 2009 - PTL results thus far...............  Go to spreadsheet above - and make sure you send in your results to Eamon O’Hara a.s.a.p.  Note also that results from the Area Heats and the Finals will also be coming out shortly.  Eamon and his team do a lot of work on this league on all our behalf, for which we are all very grateful.

Lisburn seem to be heading up the Division results with  3 wins.  Three clubs have 1 win and the rest null wins.

Division 2 is headed up by 3 teams - Templemore, Swilly Seals and  Newry & Mourne - all on 2 wins - the race is anyone’s at this stage.

Division 3 being led by our foes of last season, Banbridge - keep it up Banbridge, although can’t hide that we secretly hope to see you next season !! (in Division 3 of course...............oops, hope I am not tempting fate here........can only help to rile the teams ??:)

Division 4 - Ballymoney  - Grand Slam !

War up for te Finals is 5pm sharp as the gala starts at 5.20pm.  Larne.  White hats - if you have them - we usually get some given to us.
