The Cook Graded Gala – 2-4th Oct. 2009 + Freestyle Skins (RESULTS)

The Halloween Graded Gala – 23 - 25th Oct 2009 ( Close date Fri. 9th Oct 2009) + Fly Skins

The Burns Graded Gala – 22-24th Jan 2010 (Close date Fri. 8th Jan 2010) + Back Skins

The Valentine’s Graded Gala – 12th-14th Feb 2010 ( Close date 29th Jan 2010) + Breast Skins

Handbooks

Swim Ulster - usually available from mid-July. Call the office or log onto the Swim Ulster website.

Swim Ireland - usually the handbooks are available at Nationals, however there are several items being amended this year and the handbook will be brought out in August.

Swimming Pathway

Club Galas/Teletots/PTL - Graded Galas - Regional Championships (Ulster/Leinster/Munster/Connaght) - Irish Championships - International Meets - World Championships - Olympics

 

Irish National Championship Meets

Swim Ireland (the National Governing Body for Aquatics in Ireland) run the major meets for the island. There are LC - Long Course - and SC - Short Course - Championships for Age Groups, Youth Groups, Seniors and Open. (Open generally meaning over 19 years for Irish Competition, and 18 in Ulster Competition)

Age and Youth Group Championships are in June (Div 2) (SC), and in July (Div 1) (LC)

Open LC Championships are earlier in the year.

Youth and Senior LC Championships are in Jul (Div 1)

We have two LC pools currently in Ireland. One at the University of Limerick and the other, the National Aquatic Centre, in Dublin.
